Sergios Sergiou has extensive professional experience within the banking sector, with a career spanning more than 30 years.
Professional Background
He previously served as an officer at Hellenic Bank for approximately 30 years. During this period, he gained eight years of specialised experience within the bank's International Business Units, with particular involvement in credit facilities, lending and bank account opening procedures.
Following his career at Hellenic Bank, Sergios gained an additional three years of experience with Alpha Bank within its International Business Unit, where he worked as a Relationship Manager.
In this position, he was involved in supporting international clients and facilitating the onboarding and account opening procedures of foreign corporate entities.
His extensive banking background has provided him with practical knowledge of international banking relationships, client onboarding, documentation requirements, credit procedures and communication with international corporate clients.
